We believe that Jesus is God who
came to us to live and die for all people. We also believe that all of
us are burdened with sin in need of Jesus' love and salvation.
We
profess that the way of the cross is the only way to enjoy a full life,
to love and spend eternity at peace with God. That God's Word is THE
true Word and that we can trust what it says despite what society or
others would say. That "Breaking the Bread and Sharing the Cup" as
Christians have done for 2000 years is a sacred and serious act, and a
great gift. It physically offers forgiveness in a personal way and
binds those who share a common faith together into one body. That
there is still right and wrong, and still hope in a Redeemer for all of
us who fail and feel the shame of failing. That Jesus is not just for
church people, that He is YOUR God, and that he has a place for you in
His body, the Church, when we are humble enough to receive it. That
there is one God, in three persons, a great and wonderful mystery:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
